Dr. Lima conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals ages 6-50 to fully understand an individual's neurocognitive abilities and how it may be impacting functioning. Common referrals for neuropsychological evaluations are TBI, epilepsy/seizures, and other genetic and neurological disorders. Dr. Lima has also worked in the court system and has been retained by law firms to conduct neuropsychological evaluations for individuals involved in the court system, and has testified in court over 100 times. 

Dr. Lima is not currently able to evaluate for dementia. 

Dr. Lima conducts comprehensive evaluations to understand the individual's strengths and weaknesses in learning. If you're concerned about reading (dyslexia), math (dyscalculia), writing (dysgraphia), or auditory processing concerns, Dr. Lima can help you understand how your child learns best, and what services would be beneficial. He makes recommendations for schools to help your child learn, and attends IEP meetings when requested. Dr. Lima has experience working with educational advocates and conducting Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE). 

Dr. Lima is currently in the process of becoming certified in ImPACT, a concussion evaluation and management software that is FDA approved for both in-person and virtual use. 

Dr. Lima carries a small therapy caseload, which will be mostly virtual throughout 2025, but will be both virtual and in-person at his office in Redlands, CA beginning in 2026. Will soon have availability (pending business license approval) with an estimated 1-week wait time. 

In the State of California Dr. Lima will be an out-of-network provider. He will provide a "Superbill" that will include all CPT codes, number of units used, ICD diagnosis, etc. for submission to  your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

He is currently working to set up services with Reimbursify to help you with the process of submitting for reimbursement from your insurance company.
